The school has developed its own material for most basic levels of its Learn Portuguese courses. As students enroll in basic levels, they receive a booklet (a handout pack) for the courses. Besides the main booklet, there is an extensive amount of supplementary material from newspapers, magazines and books. We also use plenty of audio and visual resources in class. In intermediate and advanced levels, we sometimes suggest that the student acquires a specific title, depending on his language objectives and learning style.
At TLC, there is a rich library with Portuguese coursebooks, novels and reference books. We have some Portuguese coursebooks edited abroad and most of the updated existent material edited in Brazil, such as Bem-Vindo, Novo Avenida Brasil, Fala Brasil, Panorama Brasil, Estação Brasil, Falar…Ler…Escrever and others.
